When I open CS2D I get a black screen and the window is unresponsive (can't close or minimize). I'm using Linux Mint 18.1. Are there any packages I need to install?

Unfortunately this is a critical bug in CS2D Linux Client which user DC needs to fix it. The bug is already issued on thread cs2d CS2D Bug Reports.

However you can still play this game by setting the 
win
configuration to 0. To do so, open config.cfg file from sys folder and search for that setting.
