Some important things & facts you should know √
Server = a PC which runs a server program (OR the server : program itself) √
Hosting a CS2D server = creating your own CS2D game and be admin √
Admin (administrator) = a person who can control all server settings etc. √
RCon (remote control)= allows you to be an admin on other servers √
RCon Password = password required to be able to control other CS2D servers √
Console = a text input/output interface where you can enter commands √

Hosting means it dedicated, which is more likely to be 24/7.

Lol! You know shit all about this subject, hosting is not neccisarily dedicated. Hosting simply means you 'host' a connection for clients to join.

A Server is not a program, what you mean is the dedicated-executable.

And a server is not necessarily a PC, it can be any computer-type machine with the right operating system (PC = Personal Computer)

the term "server" is often used for the server program itself (I wrote "server program" in that text. I have no clue why he added that confusing ":") and of course hosting means opening a game and allowing others to join. it doesn't need to be dedicated or 24/7. opening a game for 5 secs is hosting as well. you host a game for 5 secs in that case.

@user adamCSzombie: it makes totally no sense to take content from the cs2d website and to post it in the off-topic forum without any real reason. trashed.
