Whatever happened, it's completely stopped him from playing Stranded 2, and isn't a problem with Massive Mod. Sorry for the giant post on page 63.

I started playing stranded 2 for a bit i have windows Vista (yes i know i suck) and the game works but only with the vista mod and you said i have to open it with the .bat File and that doesnt work it automaticaly says that theres a memory access violation at 99% Completion on the first load screen is there a vista MM version out?
Yeah, my case is similar to yours Lockwood. Only, I used to be able to run it fine on vista. Something must have changed in the formula since then to make vista and 7 have issue.
-Also, when i try to fire iron it will never cool down. Is there a way to change this.
So far the mod seems good but i have yet to live past the 3rd day. I either starve or die of thirst but i guess that is what would happen if I actually did get stranded on an island.

1:if irons around fire it wont cool down your forge and your fireplace are too close.
2:insted of throwing iron and meet onto the grill/forge throw them infrount of them.
3:nets do 0 damage so u can attatck nests or any other plant/object witch wil give you sompting on attatck.
@builder an easy whay to stop meet from falling thru is to half the speed so it moves slowr to the fire and wont impact so hard and cause it to pass thru.

My only remaining question is why does food and drink fill so little of your bar. My guy in game has to eat more then i do at home to live through the day.
(sorry for the repeat questions earlier. I had not gotten through the first 60 pages yet to find the answers)
So food helps less, fresh water is more scarce, etc.
At least he cut down on the crafting requirements so not as much right clicking
Hunt alot, or take up fishing for food, or grow wheat and make bread. Gathering wild foods wont sustain you in the long term.

Why do iron spears do so much damage in melee?
Also, Is there anyway to make it so 1 click would take all items you have to build a project at 1 time?

But according to attacking rate and breakable, I prefer sword.
Sword is more reliable to me.
But then again the longbow and iron-head arrows kill a lion in 3 to 4 shots at range so i can't be too upset.
