If you want to implement "x days ago", please make it possible to still see the "real" post date and time. Nothing's more annoying than seeing "4 days ago" without any way to know when exactly something happened.
I'd like to suggest this idea by adding a "mini Menu" or something like that for command tag file:
What I mean is when you type the thread tag to show a thread with title and category for example it'll show also a menu table or how you want to call it.
I want that thing like in file tag when you write file: it will show a menu with game's files, their categories, etc.
I don't know if DC forgot this but I wonder when you'll add http://unrealsoftware.de/activity.php in the Home page or such. Maybe it would be useful for moderators to see what's going on.
Super Users and above (or at least Moderators and above) shouldn't have to wait 60 seconds as a safeguard against spam.
1) There's like 20 of us in all
2) We're very unlikely to spam
3) It's annoying when I can't comment 3 files in one minute when I want to ask for source of files or comment mistakes.
Either implementing this takes ages, DC forgot to do it or he doesn't trust us. Either way, I hope he takes this into consideration
@ oxytamine: Fairly sure if someone hacks or gets access to a moderator account, the spam will be the least of the problems. This site is not known to the point that people you party with knew about you being a moderator there.
I have no opinion about what you claim of Super Users. I am thinking higher of them than people who lack any responsibility. In the first place, they wouldn't Super Users if they haven't been dedicated to the site. I don't see the problem there.
Add special moderator rank that can moderate only File Archive because our moderators don't have time to moderate there, but users with this moderator rank probably would always looking there because that's their charity work.
That's my suggestion and don't say that current moderators you have are active there, because it's not.
Even at our forum .
@Moderators: Maybe you look there, but don't tell me that every day. In the worst case, you look out there only from New Uploads.
I do report to somebody each time I see something wrong in the file archive, it helps and makes their job easier. This way 1-2 people that can moderate are enough when more eyes ( users ) are helping out. I don't know how you could notice the reports I write.
