Off Topic What code editor do you use? What code editor do you use?
30 replies A question for the Lua coders, I'm pretty sure that most use Notepad++.
I personally use Programmer's Notepad. jEdit, if I code. Sometimes Notepad++. Former SciTe user btw Beaver, Notepad++, Notepad ( ). Yeah, that's about it I think. No wait, I also occasionally use Programmer's Notepad, it's installed on my work PC but I don't use it as often as I used to. I use Adobe extended script. I use Notepad++ Portable, I think it's better to not install it because if it's portable I can have it with me anywhere I go when it's on the USB-stick, then I can use the programme at my friend's house, therefor it's quite useful to have the programme portable. I don't use it that often though except when I edit Lua scripts and HTML. SciTe. Eh. I use different ones for different languages. SciTE for Auto-It, NetBeans for Java, the premade editor for Just Basic (Which I never use), and NotePad++ for pretty much anything else. Cs2D EasyLua. NetBeans for php, Notepad++ for other stuff Default Notepad Notepad++ is the best, it recognizes commands depending on what format the text/code file is in. gedit on ubuntu, notepad++ on windows. I use notepad++, and I'm going to make some CS2D "for-n00bs" lua editor some editor that i use:

I recomend you Codelobster PHP Edition.
It's most powerful among free code editors.
Some advantages of this editor are: intellectual autocomplete, FTP,
folding code, navigation with Ctrl for all links and descriptions and
incremental searching
Important feature of this editor is presence of special plugins for
Drupal CMS, Joomla CMS, Smarty template engine, JQuery library, CodeIgniter framework,
CakePHP framework, Facebook social network and WordPress blogging platform.
Also i want to pay your attention to the option Portable
